Finish and door-style options

One kitchen, two to four options, all from the same camera, so the client compares like with like.

Comparing options fairly

When two options are shown in different photos or sample boards, clients end up comparing the light, the angle and the props as much as the cabinets. Rendering every option from the same camera, in the same light, takes those differences out. The client sees one change at a time and decides faster.

What can change between options

  • Door style: shaker, slab, raised panel, inset, glass uppers
  • Color or wood finish, including two-tone schemes
  • Hardware style and finish
  • Counter and backsplash material

Why options cost less than new views

The room is modeled once. Each option changes materials and a few parts, then renders from the same camera, so a second or third option costs much less than a new view. Your quote shows the price per option.

Questions

How many options should we show?

Two to four. More than that tends to slow the decision instead of helping it.

Can we add an option after the first draft?

Yes. It's priced as an extra option, which is still less than a new view.
